I purchased a Panasonic FZ18 on 26th

I purchased a Panasonic FZ18 on 26th October which arrived within two days.Once the battery was charged I found that there was a fault with the electronic viewfinder and lcd screen. Although their website states that faulty items will be collected by courier I was advised that they no longer do this and I would have to return the camera at my own expense and risk. They also wanted to repair the camera as they said I had used it. They have no knowledge of the Sale of Goods Act or the Distance Selling Regulations and I sent them an email mentioning these and voicing my complaint. No reply to this e mail or any of the others I have sent. In desperation I took the camera into Jessops store in Liverpool and was given an immediate refund. The moral of this story is if you like living life dangerously then shop with Jessops on line but if you want good service then go into a Jessops store. I wouldn't use Jessops.com again under any circumstances
