Buyer beware! I purchased a PSP game

Buyer beware!

I purchased a PSP game that was on offer at the online store in Mid December 2006 as a Christmas present. When it had not arrived by the 20th I contacted them to be told it was out of stock; very frustrating as any other site I have used identifies goods are not in stock on the select goods page prior to purchase. I have contacted customer services who keep hiding behind their terms and conditions small print "Our website states that the item will be sent subject to availability".
When I ask for a refund they keep telling me to send the goods back stating what is wrong with them.
My experience is of a misleading website that sells goods that they do not have and cannot supply, supported by a customer service department that does not listen to the customer.
