I ordered a fridge freezer from Currys online. This was delivered on the correct day, so I was very pleased - until it was unpackaged and there was a big dent in the door and in the side of the unit. I would **not** recommend ordering from Currys. I was attempting to order a Fridge Freezer on 'special offer' - The Web site constantly stated it was 'out of stock' for my postcode. Eleven days after placing the order I still had no confirmation of delivery. It took 3 phone calls and a further 5 days before I got an email through to tell me that the item was out of stock and that I should pick another. Needless to say I picked another washing machine from a company that actually likes dealing with their customers (and it certainly wasn't Currys)! Read Full Review »

Utterly rubbish. They advertised a special bank holiday deal, £500 off a High Def Plasma TV. I ordered it. After a week of me chasing them daily, I finally get told it was out of stock, but would come back in "today". They mail me next day to tell me it is now in stock and to expect a confirmation mail within 24 to 48 hours. I phone them 4 days later, and they tell me they have cancelled my order ... If you can walk into a store and buy the product off the shelf then they are fine. If you need it delivered or buy it online, forget it. Go somewhere else. I ordered a Canon 350D from Currys on line. They accepted my credit card etc and confirmed order. After a week, they sent an email saying that my order had been cancelled because the credit card did not go through. I telephoned them about the CC and they could not explain. Currys failed to deliver my fridge freezer on two occasions and never returned my calls. I was only given a couple of hours notice when they didn't show. I had to phone them everyday to find out where my fridge freezer was.
