Two weeks ago I ordered a Samsung 32 inch crt hd ready tv from Currys via their online store. The day before the agreed delivery date I received an e-mail stating it was out of stock. I have to say my experience with currys was extremely pleasant. The sales staff who helped me were friendly and polite and offered great customer service.

Much of the flack given to those working on at currys is unfair. All currys deliveries are done by an external company called mastercare and it is up to them to deliver. Currys is a good retailer and I will be returning. Read Full Review »

I placed an order for a Sony VAIO laptop (just over £1,300) and paid with my credit card. The transaction went through no problem and I was sent a confirmatory email with my order number.

The next day I received another email explaining there had been a problem with my order and I needed to call their sales team to complete the sale.

I chose the fridge freezer in a Curry's shop. However, there were few staff around and those that I did manage to speak to were not very helpful. I ordered my Panasonic TV based on reviews on the internet. I purchased through Currys as they had the cheapest price plus free delivery. (Plus there was a 5% discount through the company I work for!)

even though my experience with curry`s is 2 years old i thought i`d say my bit .
i spent £2.000 on a new phillips 36"crt with stand obviously, well thats how it started anyway,firstly the tv arrived without the stand not much suprise there but i still wasn`t happy about it considering it weighed 76 kg and the insurance was invalid without a proper stand. to cut a long story short the manager... Oh how I wish I'd seen all these other reviews earlier. If you read this, do not buy on-line from this outfit! It took me several attempts to make the on-line order on 5th December and should have realised then that I was making a big mistake.
