After reading many favourable reviews of electricshop.com I decided to place my order for a fridge with them in preference to all the other on-line options.
What a mistake that was.
I received the email notification of my order immediately after placing it and was informed in said notification that I would be contacted within 48 hours with a delivery estimate, and as the fridge was in-stock it would probably be delivered within three days.
I left it a week before contacting electricshop.com to find out the status of my order and when I finally did I was informed that the fridge was in stock and they didn't know why it hadn't be sent to the courier. I was told this would be rectified immediately and that the courier would contact me shortly to arrange delivery.
A week later there was still no contact and no fridge. I contacted electricshop.com again and was told that the fridge was now with the courier and they had no idea why it had not been delivered. I was told the courier would contact me within the next five minutes to arrange delivery, which he did, and we arranged a delivery date.
No surprise to find that on the pre-agreed date there was no delivery.
I again contacted electricshop and told them if the fridge was not here within the next two days I wanted a refund and was met by an extremely frosty reception.
Customer care clearly means nothing to them. After further contact with the courier the fridge was finally delivered this morning at 7:30am, 25 days after the order was placed.
In short, inefficient and rude customer service, terrible courier service, all in all I will never buy from them again.
