      Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray player

      Pros: Price, Ethernet connection, upgradeability to Profile 2, simple to use

      Cons: Loading times, remote feels a bit cheap, no HDMI cable supplied

      Verdict: The Samsung BD-P1500 is a great way to get access to high-definition movies without breaking the bank

      Review summary: This Samsung Blu-ray player offers very good image quality and studio-grade surround sound, but lacks the Profile 2.0 compatibility and onboard DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, as promised earlier.
