      Sony Ericsson W960i

      By Chris Jager

Pros: Versatile interface, impressive camera, 8GB internal memory, excellent music player

Cons: No memory card slot, no built-in 3.5 microphone jack, occasionally sluggish interface, erratic predictive text input

Verdict: The W960i ticks most of the boxes we expect from a good music player, including smart applications, great functionality and oodles of on-board memory. Unfortunately, a few design blunders leave it slightly wanting as a mobile phone.

Sony Ericsson W960i Review - Mobile Phones

      By Joseph Hanlon

Review summary: sony ericsson w960i review: So close yet so far: the feature-packed W960i smartphone stands out on paper but is held back by a clunky processor and a laggy interface.

Pros: Wi-Fi connectivity, 8GB internal memory, Mixed touchscreen/keypad input, Business card reader, Excellent Walkman music player

Cons: Super-laggy interface, Bad predictive text, No 3.5mm headphone jack

Verdict: The W960i is bursting at the seams with features; so much so that it struggles to keep up with the processing and is let down by its laggy interface.

      sony ericsson w960i

      By Zod

Review summary: The W960i is a decent enough 3G music smartphone. There's plenty of storage (8 GB), Wi-Fi, 3G, good music player and a 2.6-inch touchscreen. The phone does take a while to boot up and the interface could do with some usability improvements.

Pros: 3G, Walkman player, 8 GB Phone Memory, Symbian OS 9.1

Cons: Touchscreen is a little fiddly to use, No 3.5 mm jack, Tri-band only
