Review summary: With a 1980 x 1050 resolution, the M87 is a wonder to look at
Pros: Excellent specification, Great price
Cons: Standard-def pictures not perfect
Verdict: Even so, the M86 has impressive image upscaling ability, and handles the task with more aplomb than most. This is a truly great TV, and, if anything, £900 just seems too cheap
Read Full ReviewReview summary: Here's a preface: we liked this TV so much, we bought one. A journalist spending £900 is not something that happens often, but there's a good reason in this case. Firstly, an utterly unbelievable spec, starting with a 15000:1 contrast ratio
Pros: Excellent specification, Great price
Cons: Standard-def pictures not perfect
Verdict: A fantastic LCD that takes the format to new levels of quality

Read Full ReviewReview summary: - We all like big don't we, big cars, big houses, so why not big TVs? Well that's what Samsung is hoping with its whopping 52-inch LCD television as apart of its Bordeaux range. But does it impress? We get watching to find out.
Pros: Size, screen, 3 HDMI slots
Cons: Poor broadcast picture quality really shows up, dust attracts to it like a fly to you know what
Verdict: The M87 is a very good television let down by non HD quality signals
Read Full ReviewReview summary: If there's a TV out there right now with more up-front appeal than Samsung's LE52M87BD, then we can't think of it. It's a vision in gloss black, and at 52 inches it's the biggest LCD Samsung has done to date
Pros: Peerless black level for an LCD, Good connections, Superbly crisp colours and bright picture
Cons: Some issues with motion handling
Verdict: Further proof that the old plasma v LCD arguments are becoming less and less relevant. It's certainly not perfect, but it's one of the finest big-screen LCDs we've seen to date
