Review summary: Mobile music is an area that has taken off over the last few years, and one of Nokia's latest additions to its XpressMusic range is the 5300. Sam grabbed the 5300 and put it through its paces, finding a handset with a few compromises.
Pros: Capable music functions, built in 2.5mm earphone jack, excellent user interface, excellent keypad, support for timed profiles and voice commands
Cons: Build issues, battery cover must be removed to swap microSD, average camera, 3.5mm converter removes headset function
Verdict: The Nokia 5300 is a good entry in the company's range of music handsets.
