Verdict: The MFC-8860DN is a jack of all trades and has a number of excellent features - above all it is capable of almost anything including printing, scanning, faxing and copying.

Pros: Fast. Prints, scans to, and faxes from PCs over a network. Standalone copier and fax. Scans to e-mail.
Cons: Text quality is a smidge below par, although not enough to be a serious issue.
Verdict: The Brother MFC-8860DN delivers fast printing and all the right features for a small office, home office, or workgroup, despite less-than-perfect text quality.
