  Pros: Excellent image quality. Big 12x zoom. Great low light performance. Not much bigger than standard compact.
  
  Cons: Only comes with 16MB SD card. Small electronic viewfinder.
  
  Verdict: The camera runs on AA batteries, and four of the blighters are generously supplied in the box. You�€™ll get around 110 shots from a single set, but we�€™d recommend investing a four NiMH cells and a charger �€" you�€™

  Review summary: A shutterbug's delight, Canon S3 is compact and has loads of presets to experiment with. It's been around for a while, maybe some of you will vouch for it?
  
  Pros: Good Build,12x Optical zoom and OIS, Great image quality,Full manual controls, Excellent movie mode, Live histogram in record mode, Super macro mode, Optional conversion lenses and external slave flash, Battery life
  
  Cons: Redeye reduction systems mostly fail, 1 GB Movie record limit, No RAW format support, Noise levels at ISO 400 and 800.
