Pros: Strong on OCR and document management. 50-sheet, duplexing ADF. Transparency adapter. Useful array of front-panel scan buttons. Twain, WIA, and ISIS drivers.
Cons: Doesn't batch-scan. Lacks features for removing scratches and dust from photos and slides. Transparency adapter is external to the scanner, attached by cable.
Verdict: The HP Scanjet 7650 is an all-purpose scanner with a strong business orientation, making it a good fit for a home or small office.
