Commercial Director Europe


Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the main purpose of the role is to provide the strategy, management and execution of Kelkoo?s commercial and sales leadership in Europe. The role will be responsible for all of Kelkoo?s country managers, sales and affiliate/partner team within Europe.    


Key tasks to include:

  • Fully integrate and develop the existing sales and affiliate/partner teams into a coherent, high-performing team
  • Recommend, ensure sign-off, and then execute on the Commercial Strategy for Europe
  • Work to an agreed P&L across Europe
  • Work closely with the executive team ensuring a coherent Kelkoo approach
  • Develop key business relationships with potential partners and merchants within Europe
  • Investigate and recommend potential M&A opportunities within Europe

Requirements (including qualifications & educational background; technical/functional knowledge & skills - both essential and desired; experience)

Essential:

  • Strong pan-European Commercial and business development experience
  • Board level experience
  • Excellent management skills
  • P&L responsibility
  • History of delivering on European expansion
  • Knowledge of key European markets
  • Experience of price comparison market
  • Strong negotiation experience

 

Desirable:

  • Language experience
  • Experience working in the retail space
