Chief Technical Officer


Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the main purpose of the role is to provide the strategy, management and delivery of Kelkoo's Technology approach. The role will be responsible for all of Kelkoo's Technology.  


Key tasks to include:

  • Recommend, ensure sign-off, and then execute on the Technology Strategy for Kelkoo
  • Work to an agreed Technology budget
  • Deliver on Agile delivery within Kelkoo
  • Put together a high performing Technology team
  • Ensure delivery of Kelkoo's program plan
  • Work closely with the executive team ensuring a coherent Kelkoo approach

Requirements (including qualifications & educational background; technical/functional knowledge & skills - both essential and desired; experience)

Essential:

  • Strong E- Commerce technology experience
  • Board level experience
  • Excellent management skills
  • History of delivering agile development methodology
  • Good commercial and negotiation experience
  • Strong French and English language skills
  • History of innovation
  • Experience running high-transactional websites
  • Good technical SEO experience

 

Desirable:

  • Object orientated programming experience
  • TDD knowledge
  • Price comparison experience
  • Experience with crawler technology
