Director International

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the main purpose of the role is to provide the strategy, management and execution of Kelkoo's international expansion outside of the EU. The role will be responsible for all of Kelkoo's expansion outside of Europe. As an executive we expect this individual to take the existing international research - and move it into the execution phase.   

Key tasks to include:

• Fully interrogate the existing international Strategy and research
• Recommend, ensure sign-off, and then execute on the Strategy
• Work to an agreed P&L
• Work closely with the executive team ensuring a coherent Kelkoo approach
• Hire and manage an international team capable of executing the agreed strategy
• Develop key business relationships with potential partners and merchants internationally
• Investigate and recommend potential M&A opportunities internationally

Essential

• Strong International Commercial and business development experience
• Board level experience
• Excellent management skills
• P&L responsibility
• History of delivering on International expansion
• Knowledge of key international markets
• Strong negotiation experience
  

Desirable

• Retail or Shopping / Services comparison experience
• Experience rolling out into Asia/Pacific
• Language experience
