E-Mail Marketing Manager


Job Description

Reporting to Marketing manager, the E-Mail Marketing Manager is responsible for carrying out e-mail activities and connecting with users by executing on Kelkoo's European e-mail strategy in partnership with all local Kelkoo markets.

The main responsibility of the E-Mail Marketing Manager will thus be to:

  • - Plan, create and execute targeted email campaigns that meet user needs and interests
  • - Create awareness of Kelkoo offerings and events as well as drive upsell and cross-sell thereby generating increased traffic to Kelkoo
  • - Coordinate and work closely with local markets to assure broad coverage and local adaptation of activities
  • - Coordinate and work closely with the development team and other relevant teams to initiate activities on the Kelkoo site as well as on 3rd party sites to encourage increased signup rates
  • - Work and align with the marketing team to assure that the brand and PR strategies are reflected in all email activities
  • - Monitor performance of campaigns, perform A/B testing and optimize campaigns accordingly
  • - Report and provide the business with valuable consumer insights obtained from emailing activities

 

Requirements (including qualifications & educational background; technical/functional knowledge & skills - both essential and desired; experience)

The candidate must have:

  • - A minimum of 4 years experience with e-mail activities in a commercial consumer environment
  • - A bachelor degree or higher
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • - Outspoken written and oral skills in English and a second language (preferably French)
  • - Close attention to detail, strong planning skills and an analytical approach
  • - Creativity and the initiative to develop new ideas and concepts that furthers emailing activities
  • - Flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing commercial environment
  • - A passion for the online world and the opportunities this sector offers
