Kelkoo and Samsung to Offer Shopping Comparison on the Move

Samsung Jet first device to get the new Kelkoo Mobile application

London , 22nd July: Kelkoo, the UK's leading shopping comparison site, today launches a new mobile application, in an exclusive agreement with Samsung Mobile. The Kelkoo shopping comparison application will come pre-loaded on all new Samsung handsets in the UK from July, enabling users to get all of the excellent savings found on Kelkoo.co.uk straight to their mobile phones.
The first handset to come pre-loaded with the application will be the Samsung Jet, which has already attracted 2 million pre-orders worldwide. With a 3.1-inch touchscreen powered by an 800MHz processor, the Samsung Jet is the fastest, full touch handset on the market.
The browser-based Kelkoo application will use the high-speed HSDPA connection of the Samsung Jet to power the streamlined shopping comparison site, which has been specially optimised for Samsung devices. As a result, it offers shoppers the same great experience they would get from their computer.
The Kelkoo application will also be available for download on Samsung Tocco Ultra edition, Samsung Beat DJ, Samsung Tocco Lite and Samsung S5600 in July 2009.

Kelkoo offers consumers typical savings of 15-20% on purchases made online. For example, a Nintendo DSi Black can be found on Kelkoo through Pixmania for £129.90, compared to £149 on the high street. A Miele washing machine with a typical retail price of £755 can be found on Kelkoo, through Electrical123, for just £568, a saving of £187.
