The role
Following its purchase by a private equity firm Kelkoo needs to build an in house finance function. Key to the structure and success of the team is the Financial Accountant with responsibility for France, Spain and Italy. With France being an important and valuable market for Kelkoo being a qualified French accountant and fluent French speaker is a prerequisite. With responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations, production of statutory accounts, month end and year to date accounts as well liaison with the auditors for our year end audit the role will be a varied and challenging.

• French qualified accountant
• Fluent in English and French
• Superior technical accounting skills
• Experience in similar role within similar sized business
• Strong communication skills
• Financial systems knowledge, preferably Sun Accounts
• High level of competency in MS Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
• Ability to work at a detailed level while keeping an eye on the macro environment
• Self-motivation with enthusiasm for change and working in a dynamic environment
• Prior experience of working in a pan European environment, with a solid understanding of financial, legal and tax considerations
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast changing, dynamic environment
• Excellent communications (written and verbal) skills, and strong interpersonal skills are a requirement as is the ability to self manage and influence others to meet commitments
