How to Provide a Feed

Feeds are automatically retrieved after close of business the evening before a working day from a fixed location. Your feed can be either...

  • Collected from your website or FTP site
    A file containing product data is regularly created and hosted on your site (or FTP server). The file could be a dynamic script or page that accesses a database. Please state the file's location.

  • Uploaded to an FTP account hosted by Kelkoo
    A file containing product data is regularly created and sent to an FTP account hosted by Kelkoo. Please request an FTP account

In special cases where regular feeds are not possible, it may be feasible to spider your site. The products are extracted from pages on your site. The downside is that it is inflexible and sensitive to changes on your site. Simple changes to the HTML can stop the spider working. Please see Appendix E of the Technical Guide
