Accepted File Formats

We accept product feeds in the following formats. When you have decided on the format to use, refer to the How to Layout a Feed page to view what information is required.

Text

  • Tab-Delimited - in which the TAB character separates each field of text

    Creating a Data feed


    1. 1. Using a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel.
    2. 2. Enter your product information in the relevant fields.
    3. 3. Convert your spreadsheet to a tab, pipe or comma separated file.

    4. - File > Save as

    5. 4. In the Save as type list select Text (Tab delimited) or CSV (Comma delimited) .
    6. 5. Click Save

  • Excel users should use our Dummy Template {Save As; Type: Text (Tab Delimited)}.


  • Requirements


    • 1. Only one product per line
    • 2. Do not include return characters or line breaks
    • 3. Do not include HTML code

    XML

    • 1. We have a fixed format for XML feeds.
    • 2. Please use our schema and DTD to help you validate your XML file.
    • 3. You can check your feed using our XML Validation HowTo
